My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Elisa Morgan, AT THIS LINK uses the “Whispering Gallery” in St. Paul’s Cathedral, where tourists can hear others whispering in the dome from a far distance (see photo], … illustrating how God ALWAYS hears the prayers of those who faithfully and thankfully plea for help.
In these desperate viral and unstable times, do my readers today join me to cry out to God for help? It must’ve been what young David felt like when he was desperately running for his life from King Saul. But what did David do in those trying times? … He sang prayers (see highlight passage), … knowing that His God would hear his prayers.
And in the NT, like the Psalmists in the OT (see Ps. 66 and 116), we read of Jesus promising that our God will ALWAYS hears our faithful and sincere prayers. And also there are the declarations of other authors (see remaining reference passages) that our God is a merciful God, … Who will ALWAYS hear and compassionately consider the prayers of His beloved/faithful servants.
So, what are we waiting for in these trying - seemingly desperate - times?!! … Please take the time to hear young Mandy Lining, singing her touching song linked above; … and then … let’s pray!!
