My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Raybon, AT THIS LINK relates the poignant story of a young lady born with embarrassing birth defects who became a renown choir director (see photo), illustrating how we can overcome whom we are to become whom God purposes us to be … for His glory.
And every time I meditate on God’s truth in the Scriptures above and hear the poignant linked song by Joy Williams, I’m convicted to exhort myself what Paul charged fellow Christians to become (see Eph 4:1-3); and that is to walk in life a path worthy of our created calling in Christ.
So, let’s all do what Arianne Abela did in the ODB story [again see photo] and become whom God created us to be … image bearers of our Lord … as we live out the lives He created us to become.
