<b><u>My Devotional Journal</u>:</b> Today's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt, AT THIS LINK uses a story of a compassionate payroll clerk to illustrate how we, as disciples of Christ, should do all we can in our lives to reflect the compassion of our Savior. 

Reading and meditating on the truth of the Scriptures above about Jesus, no one could deny the compassion that Jesus so often showed to His followers during His walk on earth, … feeding the multitudes who followed Him [see photo], … even touching and healing a leper, … or raising the son of a grieving mother from the dead.  And tho we may not find ourselves feeding thousands or healing a leper, … as Laura Story sings in the linked song, … we all need to do all we can to reflect our Lord’s compassion and reach out and help others when we have the opportunity. 

And I pray we do just that today.     

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for Your compassion on me. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here will join me today, to reach out an be our Savior’s compassion to someone today.  …  Amen
