My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, David H Roper AT THIS LINK uses the reveal scene [see photo] in the classic movie, The Wizard of Oz, where to so-called WIZARD is uncovered to show the writer’s cynical view of God, … he thinking that we have to rely on our selves because there is no “Wizard” - i.e., our God - who can lead us to our dreams.

And the writer of “Oz” presents a vastly different view of God than do the Scriptures above, doesn’t he?  The question from today’s blog must be … What do you readers believe?  Do you believe, as I do, that we can - and must - rely on our great God rather than having to rely on our own selves to get us thru life?  I pray so!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for being our great and wonderful God Who is always there to lead us to Your glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, … to trust in and praise the greatness of our God.  … Amen
