My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Dave Branon AT THIS LINK uses a word picture of a huge traffic problem making it very difficult to find the road home thru all that traffic, which reminded the ODB author of Jesus’ declaration to His disciples that following Him, … Jesus …, is the only road home, … to God, the Father.
And sometimes we find ourselves doing all we can to find ways to travel the long and winding roads of life [hear the Beatles song], and we lose sight of the fact that our Lord has given us His perfect “GPS,” … and that is His word, … to seek out and follow Christ … ALL THE WAY HOME to heaven.
And I’m reminded here this morning of why I come back to use His “GPS” every day and that is to follow Jesus’ “ONE WAY” sign, … His word …, following Him all the way home. And I’m praying (AGAIN) today that all reading here with me are following that same “GPS” to find that ONE WAY road to Heaven.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for showing us THE WAY to follow You home.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, … to use God’s “GPS” to follow Jesus all the way home today and tomorrow. … Amen
