…  We are promised, by Christ to encounter troubles; but when we follow Him we’re following the overcomer of those troubles.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey, AT THIS LINK made reference to the reality of moving out of 2020 and into the new and uncharted waters of 2021 (see New Year’s on Time Square photo). 

And having gone thru what the world encountered in 2020, … 2021 likely seems a very daunting journey ahead, doesn’t it?  But if we’re truly disciples of Christ, and like the three friends singing in the linked song, committed to following King Jesus, we KNOW - from the truths of God’s word above - that our Lord will always be with us and that we will encounter only life circumstances which our for our good and our Lord’s glory (see Proverbs 3:5-6 and Romans 8:28).  

And so I pray that all reading with me here will forge ahead into the new year, as the Apostle Paul wrote in Phil 3:13-14, making a New Year’s resolution and commitment to follow our King of kings … NO MATTER WHAT we encounter.  

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for Your commitment to us as we surrender to follow You in 2021. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, to surrender our commitment to follow You, Lord, into this new year.  … Amen
