Jan 18, 2021 … Really Reconciled

Berry Patch Devotions in 2020 - Day 18

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from The Maranatha Singers singing … Reconciliation Song …  poignantly singing of God’s call for His church to be reconciled and unified in Christ, … a generation of peace and togetherness.

Highlight Passage:   Romans 5:10-11  [ESV] ...

10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Paul wanted fellow Christians to know and live the truth of our reconciliation in Christ.

Reference Passage: … Revelation 22:17 [ESV] …

17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Arthur Jackson AT THIS LINK writes of Glen Kehrein, who, after the assignation of Dr. King in 1968, developed a ministry to promote racial reconciliation in Chicago which God used to help the races to come together in some degree of harmony in those days.

And yet, … here we are, over three decades later; … and we’re still in need of all that is pictured in the attached photo!  Oh how I pray that all reading here with me can come together as Christ’s Body and do all we can to promote the reconciliation that God has for ANYONE and EVERYONE who is willing to repent of our sinful separation and come together and receive the reconciling and saving blood of Christ.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for receiving and cleansing me of my sinfulness to be reconciled and loved by You.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can today - and tomorrow - to break down the walls of division and be reconciled to God’s love and togetherness.   … Amen
