My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Amy Boucher Eye, AT THIS LINK  … wrote about a Pastor’s wife, … Agnes, … who tried to model her life after her mother-in-law, also a pastor’s wife.  However, she came to realize that only when she surrendered to follow God’s unique calling and His unique God-given gifts would she - or could she - become the pastor’s wife God had called her to become.

We all have a unique calling on our lives from God, don’t we?  (see photo) And He has given each of us unique talents/gifts to bring about God’s calling, … that unique calling to become whom God has called us to become.  And as Tasha Layton sings in the linked song, I pray that we are are seeking and seeing God’s transforming grace work in our lives to remake us in our Lord’s image.  And so, I also pray we meditate on the Scriptures above and see God do a work in transforming us into the unique - Christlike - person God has called us to become.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me and showing me the way to become more like You EVERY DAY.

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to surrender and seek to become more like You, Lord, today and all days. …   Amen
