My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Kirsten Holmberg, AT THIS LINK …writes of the difficult years when the ODB author was a teenager, rebelling against what she felt were unfair parental rules.
Rather, as we hear in the linked song and meditate on the Scriptures above, our Abba Father, desires that His faithful children would follow Him as a faithful child <b>(see photo)</b> would follow a loving father. But do we? … Or do we treat our Abba Father like an untrusting teenager might treat his/her earthly parent? I’ll leave that challenge for any fellow Christians reading here, … praying that we come to God today - or maybe come back to our Heavenly Father - like the little child in the attached photo.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for being so patient with me when I doubt and turn away from the ways of truth in Your word.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow You today, Lord, like the little child in the attached photo. Amen
