Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in a song and lyrics from the group Hillsong, leading in worship and singing … Walking In The Light< … joyfully singing of how We, as Christians, must walk in the light of Christ to be fruitful ambassadors of His love and grace.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey, AT THIS LINK   … wrote about the question the media asked at the outset of the COVID19 pandemic as to whether our world would do what was necessary to protect others or become destructive in self interest.

Well, in this world, without the virtues espoused in the linked song and the Scriptures above where mankind follows the Christian virtues espoused in the Fruit of the Spirit (see highlight passage), the answer would be a resounding NEGATIVE to that media challenge.  Really, … our human nature will ALWAYS lead us to sinful self-protection; and as Christ charged His disciple (that’s us too!) in John 15:1-8 only by abiding in and living for Christ can we experience the fruitfulness of Godly virtue in this world.  And what we see in this pandemic year has shown us that clearly.

So, I’m stopping to pray that we Christians - TODAY and TOMORROW - will do all we can to let God’s fruitfulness show forth in these perilous, pandemic, times.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your empowering grace to live in/for You today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to seek to abide in God’s fruitfulness today.    … Amen
