My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Lisa M Samra, AT THIS LINK … writes about a man named Rob, who regretted not having a dad growing up to impart wisdom and direction in his life. So, not long ago, Rob published a series of videos on YouTube entitled, “Dad, how do I ______” - USE THIS LINK to see a sample video … … The videos give young men [like the one in the photo] practical wisdom which they might need to do some of the things a dad might teach them.

The reality is that WE ALL need Godly wisdom to get thru this challenging life, … don’t we? … And this is especially true in these very difficult times! And if you’ve taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above, we see that no less than God’s prophet Moses needed mentoring and Godly wisdom to deal with the stresses of life [see highlight passage]. And God’s word promises that if we seek and follow our Heavenly Father’s wisdom, we’ll be able to handle this life and prepare for the next.

And I pray that’s what we’re doing EVERY DAY, … doing what David sang about in Psalm 119:9-16, … what Solomon taught young believers in Proverbs 1:7, 19:20, … what Jesus commanded His disciples in Luke 21:14-15, … what Paul exhorted fellow Christians to seek in Ephesians 1:16-17… and whaat James promised from God in James 1:5. But the question is … are we willing to seek out God’s wisdom in His word and then follow it?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for being my perfect Mentor, … giving me all the wisdom I need from Your word.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can today to use God’s word to wisely lead us thru life today and tomorrow. … Amen
