My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Bill Crowder, AT THIS LINK … wrote about the historical archeological find of the Rosetta Stone (see photo) which allowed linguists to uncover the mysterious secrets of ancient Egyptian writings known as hieroglyphics.
But an even more important guide to knowledge in this world is the work of God’s Spirit which Jesus promised would come - and did - after His ascension into heaven so that any born-again disciple of His could use His word, authored by His Holy Spirit, to guide us in life.
And I pray that is exactly what we Spirit-guided disciples will do today as sung in the linked song and the Scriptures above.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving us - as Your witnesses - the power of Your Holy Spirit to guide us in life thru His authored word.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow God’s Spirit today - and tomorrow - as He leads us thru God’s word.
