My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, John Blasé, … AT THIS LINK … tells of a friend who lost his father and expressed how much he missed hearing his dad’s voice. And certainly, … anyone who has a close kinship with his/her dad can identify with those missed times of hearing our pop give us his expressions of love.
And that is what the author of the ODB entry today is conveying, … as well as the linked song, … that our God, … our good, GOOD God, … is, and always will be, our ABBA Father, … always there to give us His undying love and grace.
And that’s why I come here daily, … to “hear” - through God’s word - my Abba Father’s expressions of love. It’s my Heavenly Father’s love letter to me … and to you if you know Him as your Abba Father as I do.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me Your grace daily as I come here to bask in Your expressions of love from Your word again today.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to open Your love letter again today, Lord, to hear of Your love, dear Abba Father. … Amen
