February 4, 2022 … Creation Calls …

Berry Patch Devotions in 2021 - Day 35

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in a song and lyrics from Brian Doerksen singing … Creation Calls … singing of how we ALL see God in His creation, … IF we’re willing to look and see.

Mysterious "GLACIER MICE"

Highlight Passage: …  Genesis 1:11 [NLT] …

11 Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened.

… God creates plants and vegetation for mankind and the animals to consume.

… God creates His world for our good and His glory.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Psalm 19:1 [NLT] …

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship.

… King David sings of seeing the glory of God simply by looking up into the heavens.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … John 1:3 [NLT] …

God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him.

… God shows all that He created all things thru Jesus for Jesus.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Romans 1:20 [NLT] …

20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

… Paul shows fellow Christians (and us too!) that mankind has no excuse in denying God because we see Him in creation.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Colossians 1:15-16 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK …

… God, thru Paul, reveals the how/why all that all we see in creation was created in/thru/for Christ

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Kirsten Holmberg AT THIS LINK  tells of the discovery of “glacier mice” (see photo) in the 1950s, … small, self-contained bulbs of moss which are found in Iceland and Alaska, living on top of glaciers and traveling slowly across the ice in “colonies,” … totally baffling scientist as to how and why they exist; and showing mankind that there are mysteries that God has created which show His creative powers and our inability to explain.

And these little balls of moss just reconfirm for me the message of Brian Derksen’s linked song and the Scriptures above, … that our Lord created all things for us, as His children, … for our good and His glory; … and as Paul wrote to fellow Christians (that us, my friends!), we have no excuse to say there is no God (see (Romans 1:20); because we can see Him all around us in the wonders and mysteries of creation.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing off to me thru Your creation again today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to look around us and see You, Lord, in Your creation.    … Amen
