My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Anne Cetas, … AT THIS LINK … tells of a friend, … Gary, … who experienced balance issues and had to learn to use other senses to walk besides his sight, illustrating how God desires for His faithful to walk by faith, … trusting in Him and His ways, … rather than relying on our own perceptions.
And probably the best biblical example of that kind of faith would be young David going up against Goliath (see photo and highlight passage). In that old bible story we see a true believer, being able to go way beyond what a human sees or has experienced, … because he, .. David, … knew His God and trusted God’s ways rather than what we, as believers, can see.
And that’s my prayer for all of us reading here today; … that we will walk into the battles and challenges of life today and walk by faith <b>(see Scriptures above)</b> and not by sight.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me, primarily thru Your word how and where to walk in life.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow Your path, Lord, to walk by faith and not by my own sight. … Amen
