My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon, AT THIS LINK … uses the illustration of the very narrow natural road/bridge to the Caribbean Island of
Eleuthera [see photo], where tourists taking the only, but very narrow, road can see the deep blue waters of the Atlantic separated from the calm turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
And the illustration is used to show us that we, who call ourselves Christians, will find ourselves taking Christ’s very narrow road to our home in Heaven, which Jesus taught was the only way to go home, … a very difficult road to follow Him, … but a road ANYONE can follow if they [or we] but surrender our way to follow Him as the ONLY WAY.
And I pray that all reading here with me have chosen to follow our Lord down that narrow road … all the way home to Heaven.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me the way to go Home, Lord.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to join me to do all we can, today and tomorrow, to stay on Christ’s narrow road. … Amen
