My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt, AT THIS LINK  … Illustrates that we Christians, like the believers  in the highlight passage from 2Kings, have a tendency to lift up - and even worship - medical science when a medicine or treatment provides wondrous and needed healing for a disease or condition, … forgetting … that it is God who ALWAYS provides all that heals in this life … or the next.   

  

In these times of COVID 19, where we seek after medicinal agents that can ward off the virus or promote healing when the virus strikes, we should always remember that it is our Jehovah-Rapha - God Who Heals - Who is in control of all we’re going thru And, therefore, we must trust the Ultimate Healer,… our Messiah, King Jesus, … as we seek after human healing agents or methods.   

So, after you, a fellow Christian, take in the linked song and have meditated on the Reference Scriptures above, let’s all stop and thank our God Who will ALWAYS provide healing - in this life or the next - for all diseases or sickness that we face in this life. As Don Moen sings, “Jesus Is Our Healer,”; and therefore, come with me today to worship Our Lord and recognize His healing grace.
