My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Con Campbell, AT THIS LINK … uses the touching story of how a homeless and orphaned black football player, … Michael Oher, … depicted in the 2009 movie, The Blind Side, illustrated the love of the family who adopted Michael, … the love of family which was felt and received by the young football player.
And that true story illustrates the love, acceptance, and grace which comes to any/all who surrender in repentance and receive the adoption of love/grace from our Heavenly Father. And I pray that any/all who’re reading these words have done what is related in the Scriptures above, and as Phil Wickham sings in the linked song, to become children of God.
Our Lord adopted me, my friends; and if he’d take in a lost prodigal like me, our Heavenly Father will adopt any of you into His family. So, … come, dear friends. If you need a family, … if you need a Father, … my “Abba Father” is calling you to let Him be Your Daddy!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for adopting me to be in Your family.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to languish in the love and saving grace offered by our Heavenly Father as He accepts us into His family. … Amen
