My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, John Blasé … AT THIS LINK … tells of a common theme of a hero coming home in movies like The Wizard of Oz or Star Wars or The Lion King, where the lost or bewildered hero returns home, strengthened by life to help those at home to be saved.
It’s certainly a recurring theme in Scripture [see passages above] isn’t it, … where God’s’ hero - and saved - disciples are called by our Lord to go home … or to the whole world … and be His witnesses. And I pray that all reading here with me will take in the linked song and the Scriptures above to receive and be energized by God’s call; … to go and share Christ’s love and grace with our family (see photo) or anyone with whom God calls us to share His saving grace today.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … that you’ve called ME to be Your witness today. Give me Your strength to be worthy to that calling.
