My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson, AT THIS LINK … writes about a song written/sung by a group, Over the Rhine, which sings of the first snowfall of the year and how it brings a vision of God’s peace. [hear the song AT THIS LINK] …
And another song, linked above by Brian Doerkson, also helps us see, as God helped Job see (see highlight passage), that all we have to do is look around us to see the inexplicable power and glory of God thru His creation.
Just a few weeks ago, tho it doesn’t snow often her where I live in the MidSouth in the USA, we had a blanket of snow which covered our landscape (see photo); and it was so easy to look around and feel God’s peace and His glory in the blanket of white. And I pray we look around us today and be reminded of God’s glory (see the Scriptures above and especially - Romans 1:20).
It’s God speaking to us of His presence, His power, and His glory.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for showing off to me thru Your creation.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to take in the wonder of God’s creation and know that He created it all for us. … Amen
