Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from Zach Williams singing… A Little Less Like Me  powerfully singing of how God’s Spirit in us gives us the power to reflect the light of Christ into the world by the way we live our lives.

Highlight Passage:  Colossians 1:27 [ESV] ...

To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

… It is Christ’s Spirit in us (born-again believers) which reflects His glory in the way we live.

My Devotional Journal</u>: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Lisa M Samra, AT THIS LINK   shared the following incident:  During an episode of the popular US television talent competition America’s Got Talent, a five-year-old girl sang with such exuberance that a judge compared her to a famous child singer and dancer in the 1930s. He remarked, “I think Shirley Temple is living somewhere inside of you.” Her unexpected response: “Not Shirley Temple. Jesus!”

That darling and talented little girl had internalized the reality of what others saw in her God-given abilities; and that is the Spirit of Christ living in her and using her talents/gifts for God’s glory.  The question from this ODB entry today is simple, isn’t it?  Do WE get it?

And then … do we live it?  I love the song, recently written and sung by Zach Williams, linked above, which expresses the desire to live and reflect all of the truths in the Scriptures above, … that we become more fruitful in living as Christ would and becoming more like Him everyday in the choices we make which reflect the light of Christ shining into a very dark world.  As Williams wrote in the song, … “A little more like Jesus … a little less like me!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving me Your light to shine today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to reflect the light of Christ in the choices we make today. … Amen
